Job summary

Merivale in Sydney is seeking passionate and talented Sommeliers to join our team across iconic brands such as Uccello, Felix and Totti's. Roles vary by level, with opportunities to work alongside industry-leading wine teams under Franck Moreau and Dorianne Neimard.

You will contribute to world-class service, deepen wine knowledge, and help shape Merivale’s renowned guest experiences across our 90+ venues. Strong team spirit and a commitment to excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sommelier or wine service professional.
• Strong knowledge of wine regions and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver wine service at Merivale venues.
• Educate staff and guests on wine selections.
• Collaborate with restaurant teams to elevate guest experiences.
• Maintain cellar and stock in line with Merivale standards.

The Role

We are on the hunt for passionate and talented Sommeliers to join our teams for Sydney’s brightest year yet.

We are looking for a variety of Sommeliers across our group: These roles are in some of our most treasured brands like Uccello, Felix and Totti’s,

• Head Sommelier

You will get to increase your wine knowledge, learn system processes, and improve your service styles as well with the Merivale way.

As part of the Merivale Sommelier Group, you will need to be a team player, teach and share your wine knowledge, and inspire others in your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You are a valued part of our restaurant teams and you’ll set the standard for service and share your knowledge with all our guests to ensure their experiences at our Merivale venues are memorable ones.
