Swillhouse in Sydney is seeking a Venue Manager to lead day-to-day operations, drive guest experience, and manage a high-performing hospitality team. You will monitor finances, control costs, and uphold liquor licensing, WHS, and Fair Work standards while shaping the venue’s vibrant culture.

The role emphasizes staff development, roster planning, and close collaboration with the General Manager to ensure exceptional service and operational efficiency across the front and back of house.

Qualificações

• Leadership and team management experience in hospitality
• Strong budgeting and cost-control skills
• Guest experience focus and event execution capabilities
• Knowledge of liquor licensing, WHS, and Fair Work laws

Responsabilidades

• Lead, manage and hold the team accountable, giving clear direction including service feedback and keeping expectations clear
• Provide necessary tools for junior bar staff to carry out their accountabilities to expected standards
• Reward and recognize team members' positive contributions
• Oversee stock control and ordering to ensure efficient operations, including par levels
• Record and report comps and discounts accurately, minimising wastage
• Coordinate with Procurement to prevent stock variance via regular reviews
• Handle bar and venue equipment orders, collaborating with GM on controllable expenses
• Draft the weekly roster reflecting staff availability and leave while aligning with labour budgets
• Ensure FOH and BOH areas are clean, presented, and maintained to high standard
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Operations Team and GM on major projects
