Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking an experienced Building Manager for Oaks Sydney Goldsbrough Suites. You will oversee daily operations, maintenance, and presentation of the property, coordinating with owners, residents, guests and contractors to uphold the highest standards.

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you’ll protect and enhance the asset while delivering exceptional service. The role requires strong building operations knowledge, contractor management, and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in Building/Facilities Management or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building operations and contractor management.
• Experience in strata, residential, mixed-use or hospitality environments is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation and presentation of the property.
• Conduct regular inspections of common areas, building infrastructure and plant equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs and contractor activities across the property.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, residents, guests and service providers.
• Ensure building services (fire, security, mechanical, electrical) are maintained and compliant.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure works are completed safely and to a high standard.
• Manage maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs.
• Support budgeting, cost control and capital expenditure planning.
• Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and building regulations.
• Respond to operational issues and implement solutions to minimise disruption.
