Minor Hotels’ Oaks Adelaide Embassy Suites is seeking an experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to support daily operations and drive service excellence. You’ll lead by example, ensuring cohesive functioning across departments and contributing to property performance and guest satisfaction.

The role focuses on day-to-day hotel management, rostering, training, and upholding brand standards, with opportunities for professional growth within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel supervisory or assistant management role.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for hospitality, guest satisfaction, and team development.
• Ability to work across varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of hotel systems (Opera/Fidelio or similar) is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support the Hotel Manager with the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
• Provide strong leadership to front office, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
• Ensure the delivery of outstanding guest service and swift resolution of guest issues.
• Assist with rostering, recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Maintain property presentation, cleanliness, and adherence to brand standards.
• Oversee financial performance including cost control, productivity, and revenue opportunities.
• Support compliance across WHS, security, and company policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
