Job summary

William Angliss Institute is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Operations Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across its hospitality venues, conferences and events at the Melbourne campus.

The role focuses on driving profitability, service excellence and growth across Angliss Restaurant, Bistro, Café 555, Conference Centre and catering operations, with flexible hours and a strong emphasis on compliance and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Solid track record in hospitality operations management, ideally in a complex multi-venue environment.
• Strong food & beverage expertise with ability to drive profitability through cost control and margin management.
• Understanding of hospitality operations including team leadership, service delivery, financial management and governance.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate large teams and departmental managers across multiple operations.
• Commercially minded with strong financial analysis skills and capacity to implement performance improvements.
• Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol certification or ability to obtain before commencement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-venue hospitality operations (venues listed in the role description).
• Drive commercial performance, revenue and operational efficiency.
• Lead operational teams and foster a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
• Engage stakeholders including industry partners, clients and staff to deliver commercial outcomes and enhanced learning environments.
