Job summary

Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne is seeking a Food & Beverage Operations Manager to lead our dining, conferencing and events experiences on the floor, ensuring exceptional guest service and revenue growth.

You will work closely with the Executive Chef and hotel leadership to drive operational excellence, coach high-performance teams, and deliver memorable experiences across all F&B outlets and events.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years' leadership experience within hotel F&B operations.
• Strong experience managing conferencing and events within a hotel environment.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and financial management capability.
• Proven track record of leading, engaging and developing high-performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all food and beverage, conferencing and events operations.
• Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and service excellence.
• Deliver revenue, profitability and productivity targets.
• Maximise venue utilisation and identify opportunities to grow business performance.
• Manage labour costs, rostering, inventory and supplier relationships.
• Oversee the successful delivery of conferences, meetings, weddings and special events.
• Recruit, coach and develop high-performing teams.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and accountable team culture.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing and WHS requirements.
• Partner with the leadership team to continuously enhance the guest experience and commercial outcomes.
