Job summary

The Tara Hotel in Tara, Queensland, is seeking a hands-on Hospitality Manager to oversee the smooth operation of the venue. This leadership role requires a strong team focus, industry experience, and a solid understanding of hotel operations.

You will manage hospitality staff, bar/restaurant operations, gaming activities, and ensure compliant service while maintaining high presentation and customer standards. The position demands an independent, decisive leader who leads by example.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within a hotel, pub or licensed venue.
• Current RMLV, RSA and RSG – essential.
• Proven experience with Pokies, Keno and TAB – essential.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good understanding of licensed venue operations.
• Ability to work independently and make confident decisions.
• A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example.
• Reliable, professional and well organised.
