Job summary

Bolton Clarke Group’s Tantula Rise Home seeks a dedicated cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for residents and staff. You will perform floor care, dusting and tidying, and support with basic care by keeping bedside areas neat.

You will work as part of a caring team at a not-for-profit organization, enjoying generous benefits and flexible shifts as part of Bolton Clarke’s commitment to excellent elder care.

Qualifications

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable
• Willingness to take direction from others
• Reliability and shift flexibility
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Pre employment checks; complete a National Police Check

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
• Dusting, polishing and general tidying
• Cleaning bathroom facilities
• Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents’ room
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required
