Job summary

Bolton Clarke in Bundaberg, Queensland, is seeking a dedicated cleaner to support our aged care residents and hospitality team. You will help maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the facility, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Experience in aged care or hotel services is desirable. You will work under direction, demonstrate reliability and strong time management, and participate in infection control practices to support high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or hotel services desirable.
• Willingness to take direction from others.
• Reliability and shift flexibility.
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc).
• Pre employment checks- complete a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times.
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors.
• Dusting, polishing and general tidying.
• Cleaning bathroom facilities.
• Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room.
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as needed.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable
