Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking dedicated staff to join our Meadow Springs facility in Mandurah, WA. You will help maintain clean, safe living spaces for residents, assist with daily cleaning tasks, and support a hygienic environment under supervision.

The role emphasizes reliability, flexibility, and the ability to follow directions while providing respectful, high-quality care in a not-for-profit aged care setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or hotel services is desirable.
• Willingness to take direction from others.

• Valid working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained to a high standard.
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors.
• Dusting, polishing and tidying.
• Cleaning bathroom facilities.
• Attend to residents' personal requirements by ensuring cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and equipment in residents' rooms.
• Assist with safe, efficient and hygienic care by maintaining a clean environment and infection control practices.

The Role

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

• Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
• Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
• Dusting, polishing and general tidying
• Cleaning bathroom facilities
• Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room
• Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
• Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous aged care or hotel services experience desirable
• Willingness to take direction from others
• Reliability and shift flexibility
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Pre employment checks; complete a National Police Check
