Job summary

Davistown RSL Club is seeking experienced, customer-focused Hospitality All-Rounders to join our team across evening and weekend operations. You will work across bar, cocktails, gaming, reception and functions, with duties including service, function support and terrace work.

Ideal candidates will have NSW RSA and RCG licences, a current driver licence if needed for courtesy bus duties, and strong customer service skills. Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in bar service, cocktails, gaming, reception or events.
• Current NSW RSA and RCG cards or willingness to obtain them.
• Valid driver licence if performing courtesy bus duties.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine and other beverages.
• Provide friendly and professional service to members and guests.
• Support gaming operations and compliance requirements.
• Assist at reception with member enquiries and venue information.
• Assist with preparations and delivery of functions and events.
• Complete function and event setup, service and pack-down.
• Provide safe and courteous transport for members and guests.
• Process transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and venue presentation.
• Support service on the waterfront terrace and across club areas.

Imagine working in a relaxed waterfront setting, serving cocktails and helping deliver memorable functions and events from our newly renovated outdoor terrace.

Davistown RSL Club is seeking experienced, customer-focused Hospitality All-Rounders to join our team across evening and weekend operations.

We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Cocktail and bar service
• Gaming operations
• Club reception and member services
• Functions and events
• Courtesy bus driving

The Opportunity

As a Hospitality All-Rounder, you may work across different areas of the Club depending on your experience, qualifications and operational requirements.

Responsibilities may include:

• Preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine and other beverages
• Providing friendly and professional service to members and guests
• Supporting gaming operations and associated compliance requirements
• Assisting at reception with member enquiries, sign-ins and venue information
• Supporting the preparation and delivery of functions and special events
• Completing function and event set-up, service and pack-down
• Providing safe and courteous transport for members and guests
• Processing transactions accurately and responsibly
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and venue presentation
• Supporting service on our newly renovated waterfront outdoor terrace
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across all areas of the Club

Evening and weekend work is available, with hours varying according to employee availability and the Club’s operational, function and event requirements.

About You

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in bar service, cocktails, gaming, reception, functions, events or courtesy bus driving
• A current NSW RSA competency card
• A current NSW RCG competency card, or willingness to obtain one
• A current driver licence and suitable driving history if performing courtesy bus duties
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Confidence working across different areas of Club operations
• A professional, reliable and team-focused approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Experience across every area is not required. Applicants with strong experience in one or more areas and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
