Job summary

NSW Health's The Children's Hospital at Westmead is seeking a Stores Person to ensure proper stock, storage and distribution for the site, with responsibility for ordering, receiving and delivery of stock and non-stock items for the site.

You will be part of a team delivering timely, accurate stores services in a busy hospital environment, using barcoding and Oracle for stock control, and maintaining a clean, tidy workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience as Storeman/Warehousing handling stock receiving, picking and dispatching.
• Knowledge of stock control procedures, preferably barcoding and Oracle.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with previous customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills and experience with electronic stock ordering equipment.
• Current LF Forklift Licence and NSW Unrestricted Class C Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, receiving and delivery of stock and non-stock items for the site.
• Maintain a clean and tidy storeroom and storage areas.
• Use barcoding and Oracle system for stock control and accuracy.
• Communicate efficiently with staff and external suppliers.
