Job summary

QBCC is seeking an Assessment Officer to investigate and assess claims under the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme. You will interpret legislation, determine customer entitlements, provide recommendations and support the progression of rectification works.

Work with homeowners, service providers and technical or legal specialists to ensure fair, timely outcomes. Roles can be filled from QBCC regional offices with flexible work arrangements as needed.

Qualifications

• Organised and analytical professional with strong investigative, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation and policy frameworks.
• Experience with insurance claims within building and construction industry is highly regarded.
