Job summary

JB Hi-Fi is seeking a motivated Retail Associate to join the Home Department in our Darwin store. You will deliver a positive experience for instore and online customers, ensure safety and compliance, and support sales team members with Home Department products and services.

You will leverage your retail experience and knowledge of small appliances and whitegoods to drive sales, maintain cash handling duties, and help achieve store profitability in a dynamic, customer‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Proven retail experience and customer service background.
• Cash handling experience including EFTPOS facilities.
• Ability to sell retail products and merchandise and work under pressure.
• Broad knowledge of small appliances and whitegoods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive experience for instore and online customers.
• Ensure Home Department activities meet safety and legislative standards.

Job Description

• Working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver a positive experience for both instore and online customers


• Ensuring all Home Department activities meet compliance and legislative standards, with an emphasis on Safety, including in-store process and incident reporting


• Cross train, develop and support sales team members on all aspects of Home Department products and services


• Achievement of sales and profitability targets for your store

Qualifications

• You must enjoy working in a casual and fun atmosphere, having proven retail experience and a broad knowledge of Small Appliances and Whitegoods


• Proven customer service experience and background in cash handling, including the use of EFTPOS facilities (preferably electronic POS systems)


• The ability to sell retail products and merchandise, and the ability to work under pressure
