Job summary

Hinchen Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading international insurer to recruit a Team Leader for Home Assessing, based in NSW. The role can be onsite in Lidcombe or field-based, leading a team of six Assessors across on-road and desktop home assessments.

You will coach, mentor and drive performance while delivering exceptional customer outcomes. The ideal candidate has leadership experience in Home Assessing or building services, with strong estimating/scoping skills, stakeholder

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within Home Assessing, Building, Insurance or related fields.
• Strong mentoring and coaching abilities with a guide-and-develop mindset.
• Excellent communication with internal/external stakeholders and customers.
• Demonstrated time management and prioritisation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor a team of Assessors.
• Drive high standards in scoping accuracy, cost validation and claims handling.
• Manage escalated claims and complex customer matters.
• Monitor team performance, KPIs and operational outcomes.
• Support process improvements across Home Claims activities.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and repair networks.
• Provide ongoing training and capability development across the team.
• Contribute to workforce planning and operational improvements.
