Job summary

MAYDAY Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading national insurer to recruit a Team Leader - Home Assessing in Sydney. You will lead a team of Home Assessors across residential property claims, driving performance and ensuring quality customer outcomes.

This leadership role requests experience in claims, building repairs or insurance assessing, with a strong focus on coaching, stakeholder management and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience within claims, assessing, construction or insurance.
• Experience within Home Assessing, Insurance Building, Estimating, Restoration or Property Claims.
• Strong understanding of residential building practices and repair methodologies.
• Ability to coach, mentor and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing performance, quality and operational outcomes.
• Customer-first mindset with the ability to balance service and commercial outcomes.

About the Role

You'll have:

• Strong understanding of residential building practices and repair methodologies
• Ability to coach, mentor and develop high-performing teams
