Job summary

MAYDAY Recruitment Group has partnered with a leading Australian insurer to recruit a Claims Consultant for the Home Claims team in North Lakes. The role focuses on administrative support and claims progression, with an emphasis on timely settlements and strong stakeholder communication.

Workdays are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm, on a 6-month full-time contract with potential to convert to permanent.

Qualifications

• Previous property or home claims experience within insurance.
• Demonstrated claims management experience.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads.
• Attention to detail and ability to work across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management and progression of home insurance claims.
• Drive claims through to settlement in a timely manner.
• Liaise with builders, suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
• Update claim records and maintain accuracy across systems.
• Prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
