Job summary

Auto & General in North Lakes, QLD, is offering a 3-month Home Claims support role. You’ll handle frontline calls for home insurance claims, review third-party reports, and help shape outcomes for customers during the training period.

You don’t need prior insurance experience—just a genuine desire to help people. The program runs Mon-Fri, 8am–4pm, with comprehensive training and coaching to develop claims management and customer communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in, or holding, a tertiary qualification in any discipline.
• No prior insurance experience required, just the right attitude.
• Demonstrated communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers navigating home insurance claims by phone.
• Review reports from builders, engineers and suppliers to inform claims decisions.
• Build relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers to drive best outcomes.
• Develop skills in customer communication and claims management through a structured 12-week program.

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 8am - 4pm

What You'll Do

Be the first point of contact for customers over the phone who are navigating a home insurance claim

Review reports from builders, engineers, and suppliers to make informed claims decisions

Build relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers to drive the best outcomes

Develop skills in customer communication, claims management, and compliance through our structured 12-week training program
