Auto & General Australia is seeking a Desktop Home Assessor to manage end-to-end allocated claims, determining cause, scope and cost for restoration, repair or rebuilding of damaged property while delivering excellent customer service.

You will collaborate with A&G's panel of restorers and suppliers to ensure repairs are completed to a high standard and at a fair price, performing damage assessment, scoping, negotiation and audits per regulatory guidelines.

Formación

• Experience in residential building/renovation and extensive estimating is essential.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to review and determine accurate scopes of works.

Responsabilidades

• Assess the damage: review reports and photos, validate event and damage, determine causation and apply cover levels.
• Scope the damage: create detailed damage scope and cost, align with PDS and supplier quotes.
• Negotiate outcomes: discuss and challenge line items, approve scope of work, accommodation, and cash settlements.
• Audit: perform retrospective audits of scopes, pricing and compliance.
