Job summary

Right at Home (Australia) is seeking experienced Personal Care Workers to support clients on the Central Coast, NSW. Roles include casual, part-time and full-time positions with an hourly rate of 34.92 to 45.79 AUD, plus super and kilometres for travel.

Join a small, friendly home care team dedicated to helping clients live independently in their own homes across aged care and disability support. Relevant certifications and a current police check are required, with training and support available.

Qualifications

• Experience in community care and home visits preferred.
• A valid police check and current First Aid/ CPR certificates are required.
• Driver’s licence and own vehicle are essential for client visits.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (hygiene, nutrition, mobility).
• Follow care plans and anticipate client needs.
• Coordinate with families and care team.
• Adhere to safety policies and home visit procedures.
• Assist with light housekeeping to promote independence.

What your day-to-day looks like

• Supporting clients with daily living: personal hygiene, nutrition and mobility
• Following care plans and spotting what clients need before they have to ask
• Teaming up with clients, families and the wider care team
• Following the policies and procedures that keep everyone safe in a client’s home
• Lending a hand with light housekeeping so clients can look after themselves with confidence

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability Services, Community Services, or related experience
• A current Australian National Police Check
• A First Aid and CPR certificate
• A full Australian driver’s licence and your own reliable, insured car
