Job summary

My Guardian in New South Wales is seeking a compassionate Carer to join our team, delivering person-centred care that supports dignity, comfort, and independence. You will provide companionship, assist with light domestic tasks, monitor health changes, and maintain accurate care records.

The role offers flexible casual shifts and travel to the Main Arm area. A Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care and current First Aid are preferred; a police check and NDIS check may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments and social activities.
• Ability to accurately document services and report health or behavioural changes.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus.
• Current First Aid Certificate and willingness to obtain required checks.

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one
• Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care
• Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one
