Warrigal Care is seeking compassionate casual Home Services staff to help older people stay safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes in Sydney and surrounding areas.

You will perform domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and shopping, working both independently and within a supportive team to follow individual care plans and help residents maintain quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid certificate.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Empathy and commitment to the care of older people.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and written skills.
• Understanding of VVHS Responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised.
• Committed to workplace equity.

• Previous aged care, disability support, cleaning or domestic assistance experience.

Responsabilités

• Support older people to remain safe, independent and comfortable at home.
• Deliver domestic assistance including cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, meal preparation and shopping.
• Work independently and as part of a supportive team, following individual care plans.
• Maintain safe, professional services in line with Warrigal’s standards.

You will support older people to remain safe,independent and comfortable in their own homes by delivering arange of domestic assistance services. Working across our Home Services team, you will assist customerswith everyday household tasks that contribute directly to theirwellbeing, comfort and quality of life. From cleaning, vacuumingand laundry to meal preparation, shopping and general householdsupport, your work will help create clean, safe and welcoming homeenvironments. You will work independently while also being part of a supportiveteam, building positive relationships with customers and ensuringservices are delivered safely, professionally and in line withindividual care plans. Through your commitment to quality serviceand compassionate support, you will make a meaningful difference inthe lives of older people throughout the community.
