Job summary

BaptistCare is seeking a Home Care Worker to support clients in their own homes across Whittlesea, Nillumbik Shire and Banyule. You will deliver quality complex care, help with daily tasks and build meaningful relationships with clients to enhance their independence and well-being.

As a Home Care Worker supporting clients in Whittlesea, Nillumbik Shire, Banyule City Council, you will be part of our Baptistcare at Home team that provides quality complex care and support to our clients in their own homes. You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning and general shopping for clients. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.

To support you in your role

• We offer a comprehensive orientation program including buddy shifts
• You'll have direct access to a dedicated supervisor to support you
• Access to a dedicated learning and development team to support your ongoing professional development and career pathways
• Earn $34.41/hr plus superannuation per hour + paid travel time and mileage between clients

What do we need from you?

• You will have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance.
• You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience.
• You will be a proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email.
