Job summary

BaptistCare NSW/ACT - Aged Care is seeking a Home Care Worker to support clients in Whittlesea, Nillumbik, Banyule and surrounding areas. You will assist with household tasks, shopping and daily activities in clients’ homes, building trusted relationships to enable independence.

We offer orientation, supervision, and development opportunities. Earn $34.41/hr plus superannuation, with travel time and mileage between clients.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle.

About the role

As a Home Care Worker supporting clients in Whittlesea, Nillumbik Shire, Banyule City Council, you will be part of our Baptistcare at Home team that provides quality complex care and support to our clients in their own homes. You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning and general shopping for clients. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.

To support you in your role

You’ll have direct access to a dedicated supervisor to support you

Earn $34.41/hr plus superannuation per hour + paid travel time and mileage between clients

What do we need from you?

You will have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance. You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience. You will be a proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email.
