Residential Gardens Home Care Services is a Support at Home provider.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking passionate, experienced and person centred Home Care Worker, who is required to assist in the provision of quality care services to Clients within their own home in a professional efficient manner and demonstrate an empathetic attitude to the needs of our Clients.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Assisting with domestic duties and household chores
• Assisting with the preparation and cooking of meals
• Assisting with social support and encouraging engagement in social activities
• Assisting with Personal care, showering, and bathing, general self-care duties

You must address the following Essential Criteria to be considered for an interview.

ESSENTIAL:

• Experience working within aged care
• Certificate Level III or IV in Care Support Services or Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or above.
• Current driver's license and car with full comprehensive insurance
• Willingness to travel on a regular basis using your own vehicle.
• Full Australian working rights
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a team.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Police Check clearance.
• Well-developed interpersonal communication skills.
• Good oral and written communication and comprehension skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work within WH&S and a continuous improvement environment.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
• Trustworthy, pleasant and outgoing demeanour.
• Reliable, flexible approach to rostering.
