Job summary

PremiAir Services is seeking an experienced Hire Controller to join the Melbourne depot operations. You will support VIC operations across the business, coordinating hires, orders and logistics while ensuring service quality and efficiency.

Reporting to the Melbourne Branch Manager, the role requires strong communication, time-management and teamwork. A pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening will be required.

• Experience in the Hire Industry, Transport, or similar operations role.
• Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Answering and attending to incoming calls from internal and external customers.
• Creating and data entering of hire contracts.
• Process customer orders, hire contracts and delivery/collection notes.
• Customer invoicing.
• Liaising with the workshop team to ensure equipment is ready prior to hire.
• Arranging transport and logistics movements.
• Maintain service records.
• Filing of contracts and other operations documentation.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Any other appropriate duties as directed.

PremiAir is a fast-growing Hire/Service company that specialises in the hire, service and sales of air compressors, generators, lighting towers, message boards and traffic management equipment as well as providing on-site diesel refuelling services. About the Role

Due to unprecedented customer demand and business growth, we currently have an opportunity for an experienced Hire Controllerto join the Operations team at our state-of-the-art depot in Deer Park.

Reporting to the Melbourne Branch Manager, the overall objective of this role is to assist in the running of the VIC operations for PremiAir Services and as one of the Operations personnel, you will be required to work across all areas of the business.

Duties

• Answering and attending to incoming calls from internal and external customers
• Creating and data entering of hire contracts
• Process customer orders, hire contracts and delivery/collection notes
• Customer invoicing
• Various administrative functions
• Liaising with the workshop team to ensure equipment is ready prior to hire
• Arranging transport and logistics movements
• Maintain service records
• Filing of contracts and other operations documentation
• Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
• Any other appropriate duties as directed

Skills and Experience

You must be highly motivated, well organised and be a positive thinker.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Previous experience in or knowledge of the Hire Industry, Transport or in a similar operations role
