Job summary

Talent Supply in Brisbane is seeking an operational coordinator to manage a busy fleet and keep customers informed. Based in South West Brisbane, you will handle calls, coordinate daily movements, monitor deliveries, and support back-end processes with reliability and initiative.

This role offers variety and growth as the business transitions to new systems, with an emphasis on ownership, problem-solving, and teamwork across the transport function.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound calls from customers, drivers, and internal teams.
• Coordinate daily fleet movements and transport schedules.
• Monitor delivery and pickup progress and proactively update customers.
• Manage the inbox and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
• Troubleshoot issues in real time (traffic delays, access problems, scheduling clashes).
• Work closely with the transport function while supporting backend processes.
• Take ownership and step up when needed.

The Opportunity

This is a key operational role within a fast-moving transport and hire business managing a large, active fleet (circa 1000 units) across Brisbane.

What You’ll Be Doing

At its core, this role is about communication, and follow-through.

• Manage inbound and outbound calls from customers, drivers, and internal teams
• Coordinate daily fleet movements and transport schedules
• Monitor delivery and pickup progress and proactively update customers
• Manage the inbox and ensure nothing slips through the cracks
• Troubleshoot issues in real time (traffic delays, access problems, scheduling clashes)
• Work closely with the transport function while supporting backend processes
• Take pressure off senior team members by owning your lane and stepping up when needed
