Job summary

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) in Western Australia is seeking a Recruitment & Onboarding Officer for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover to support our high-volume recruitment for development programs and the RTO intake. You will manage the end-to-end applicant journey, from posting ads to onboarding and offer documentation.

You'll coordinate assessment centre logistics, screening, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a positive candidate experience while upholding PTA values

Qualifications

• Proven experience in recruitment or HR admin in a high-volume environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage data accurately under deadlines.
• Proactive problem-solving with clear solutions to keep recruitment on track.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Exposure to Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment software.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment administration including scheduling and database maintenance.
• Manage applicant pool and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
• Coordinate onboarding, pre-employment screening, and offer documentation.
• Support assessment centre logistics and testing processes.
