Job summary

Hitachi Energy Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly organized HV Service Planner to join our Smithfield-based High Voltage Service team. You will coordinates between customers, field service teams, sales, and supply chain to ensure resources, tooling, materials and personnel are available and mobilized effectively.

You will develop schedules, manage mobilization, monitor progress from handover to invoicing, and support performance and customer satisfaction in a fast-growing market.

Qualifications

• Diploma/TAFE qualification or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
• Experience in service planning, scheduling, resource coordination, or field service operations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with SAP and/or Salesforce is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate High Voltage field service activities including installation and commissioning, inspection, maintenance, repair, retrofit, and digitalization projects
• Develop and maintain service schedules using Salesforce Field Service Management application
• Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, tooling, materials, and logistics requirements
• Ensure all site access, inductions, training certifications, permits, and competency requirements are in place before mobilization
• Monitor service order execution from the project handover through to completion and invoicing
• Manage order backlogs and support achievement of on-time delivery, revenue, and utilization targets along with customer satisfaction
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement through reporting, customer feedback, and operational performance monitoring
