Job summary

Hitachi Energy Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Commissioning & Service Engineer to provide expert support, maintenance, and on-site troubleshooting for Hitachi products and systems at customer sites. You will lead installation, commissioning, and preventative maintenance while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

The role requires 5+ years in HV sectors, strong diagnostics, and the ability to travel up to 75% with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Advanced diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in HV electrical industry desired.
• Experience diagnosing electromechanical systems and Hitachi MACH is desirable.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, preventive maintenance and repair of Hitachi equipment on-site.
• Diagnose and resolve issues using advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.
• Perform system upgrades and enhancements with minimal client disruption.
• Provide training and guidance to customer personnel on operation and basic troubleshooting.
