Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a High Voltage Project Manager to lead HV infrastructure packages on large-scale projects in Sydney, including healthcare and data centre environments. You will own HV substation delivery, coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will have proven HV project management experience, a deep understanding of the HV lifecycle, and an electrical engineering or trade background.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering high voltage infrastructure or substation projects.
• Strong understanding of the full HV project lifecycle, including installation, testing and commissioning.
• Electrical engineering or relevant qualification/trade background.
• Experience on large-scale commercial, healthcare, data centre or similarly complex projects.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and commercial skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of HV infrastructure and substation packages across major projects.
• Oversee HV works from design and procurement through to installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Manage project budgets, programmes, subcontractors and key project deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers and internal project teams.
• Ensure HV works are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and to the required quality standards.

The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has become available for a High Voltage Project Manager to join a leading Tier 1 electrical contractor in Sydney.

The business delivers major electrical projects across some of Sydney’s most complex and high-profile environments, with a particularly strong pipeline across the healthcare and data centre sectors.

They are looking to bring in a specialist HV Project Manager who can take ownership of the high voltage infrastructure components of large-scale projects. You’ll be involved across the full lifecycle of HV infrastructure and substations, working closely with project teams, clients, consultants and specialist subcontractors to ensure successful delivery.
