Job summary

Enemix is seeking a Project Engineer to lead HV and data centre infrastructure initiatives in Melbourne. The role focuses on providing hands-on electrical engineering support across live projects and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safe, compliant delivery.

You will contribute to switchboard and power system activities, support testing and commissioning, and engage with clients and subcontractors to maintain project alignment and outcomes.

Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, you will:

• Provide day-to-day electrical engineering support across live HV and data centre construction projects.
• Collaborate with the construction and delivery teams on switchboard and power systems scope, from design review through to installation and testing.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the client’s technical team to ensure works are completed on schedule and meet specifications.
• Support HV testing and commissioning activities, including documentation and quality sign-off.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and method statements, identifying risks or clashes early.
• Contribute to progress reporting, technical queries, and change management on-site.
• Champion safety and quality standards across all engineering activities.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Solid experience working with high voltage electrical systems.
