Job summary

Regenerate Talent is assisting a leading civil and electrical engineering contractor in Sydney to recruit an experienced Project Manager. You will take end-to-end ownership of large-scale electrical infrastructure projects, backed by a strong pipeline and exposure to renewables and EV charging sectors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience managing power, HV or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Recent and credible HV/electrical engineering experience.
• Experience taking projects through the full delivery lifecycle.
• Strong client, stakeholder and commercial management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships.
• Chair project meetings and drive project outcomes.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, labour, plant and materials.
• Oversee procurement, variations and claims.
• Coordinate project teams and subcontractors.
• Lead testing, commissioning and energisation.
• Manage final project handover and close-out.

Our client is one of Australia’s leading civil and electrical engineering contractors, with almost 20 years’ experience delivering projects across NSW and an exciting recent expansion nationwide into renewables and EV charging infrastructure. With a strong pipeline of electrical engineering and transmission projects ahead, they’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to take an end-to-end leadership role.

The Opportunity

This is a highly autonomous position where you’ll have genuine ownership of your projects, backed by the people, resources and technical capability needed to deliver.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover

• Chairing project meetings and driving project outcomes
• Managing budgets, forecasts, labour, plant and materials
• Overseeing procurement, variations and claims
