Job summary
Daikin Industries Ltd. is seeking a High Voltage Electrical Project Engineer to support a major NSW wind farm project. You will coordinate HV testing, assist with energisation, and provide technical guidance through construction and commissioning phases.
The role covers HV/LV testing, work-pack management, and close collaboration with site teams and stakeholders. The 18–24 month contract offers flights and accommodation and a 2 weeks on/1 week off roster.
Qualifications
- Degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working on HV electrical infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience with HV/LV testing and commissioning activities.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, protection, and commissioning processes.
- Experience preparing and managing work packs and technical documentation.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Support HV and LV testing and commissioning activities.
- Prepare, review, and manage testing and commissioning work packs.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to site teams.
- Liaise with construction, commissioning, and client stakeholders.
- Review drawings, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Assist with the planning and execution of energisation activities.
