Qualifications

• SC1: Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.
• SC2: Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn.
• SC3: Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching and feedback.
• SC4: Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with students, parents, colleagues and the school community.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs;
• Undertake other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as directed by the Principal;
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions;
• Support staff to use data to inform teaching and improve student outcomes.
