Job summary

Qualifications

• SC1: Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.
• SC2: Demonstrated experience in planning for high impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluating impact on growth.
• SC3: Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning using data.
• SC4: Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and community.
• SC5: Demonstrated behaviours consistent with Department values and commitment to ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other teaching-related and organisational duties as required by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
