Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum with a focus on literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and using data to inform practice.
• Ability to monitor and assess student learning and provide feedback.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individuals.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other teaching-related duties as required by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings and staff meetings; camps and excursions.
• Supervise and train student teachers where appropriate.
