Job summary

The role focuses on planning, preparation and teaching to achieve specific outcomes, while also contributing to school policies and collaborative professional learning within the team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience in planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning programs.
• Experience in monitoring, assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other classroom teaching and organisational duties as required by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
