Maryborough Education Centre, on behalf of the Victorian Government, is seeking a classroom teacher to support school priorities and improve student outcomes. The role involves teaching multiple year groups and contributing to school policies and professional learning within a supportive network.

The position includes responsibilities for mentoring trainee teachers, analyzing student data to tailor instruction, and aligning practice with state-wide priorities and the school strategic plan.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating student growth.
• Experience monitoring progress and using data to inform practice and communicate with families.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;
• Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school;
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal;
• Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions;
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
