Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating student growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning using data to inform teaching.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative with students, parents, staff, and community.
• Demonstrated behaviours aligned with Department values and commitment to professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals to achieve student outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program evaluation.
• Undertake other duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Engage in non-teaching supervisory duties as required.
