Job summary

Doncaster Primary School invites applications for a classroom teacher across Range 1–2. The role focuses on planning, preparing and delivering teaching programs to achieve student outcomes, with opportunities for professional learning and involvement in school improvement initiatives.

Successful candidates will engage in reflective practice, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to whole-school priorities while supporting student wellbeing and engagement within a dynamic learning community.

Qualifications

• Must hold provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Must demonstrate completion of an accredited postgraduate initial teacher education program.
• Must satisfy literacy and numeracy testing requirements (LANTITE).

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individuals.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties and organisational responsibilities as directed by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other supervisory duties as required.
