Job summary

Schwarz Excavations, part of MAAS Group, seeks an experienced Hi-Rail Operator to support civil, rail and infrastructure projects across Queensland. You will operate hi-rail vehicles and assist with track maintenance in a safety-conscious, efficient manner.

Qualifications

RIW certification or equivalent required.
Unit TLIC3045: Operate Road/Rail vehicle.
Construction Induction (White Card) required.
C Class Driver’s Licence required.
Ability to pass CAT 1 Rail Medical Assessment.
Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Assist with maintenance of rail track infrastructure.
Operate hi-rail vehicles in compliance with standards and procedures.
Follow site, client and Schwarz safety policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure safe operations.
Support a safety-first culture through proactive participation.
Accurately complete required paperwork and reports.
