Job summary

ARTC in Victoria is seeking an experienced Hi-Rail Excavator Operator to support rail maintenance and civil works across the Victorian network. You’ll operate specialised plant such as Hi Rail Excavators, Dump Trucks, and Front-End Loaders within a safety-focused, field-based team.

The role requires mobility around rail sites, travel around 70% of the time, a current Rail Industry Worker competency, a valid HR or above licence, and willingness to work a 9/5 roster and overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Operational experience with mobile plant within a railway environment.
• Current Rail Industry Worker competencies.
• Current Driver’s Licence, with HR licence or above highly regarded.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekend work as required.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home, approximately 70% of your time working away from home, travelling throughout Victoria.
• Be able to work 9 days on and 5 days off roster.
