Job summary

Schwarz Excavations, part of MAAS Group, seeks an experienced Hi-Rail Operator to support civil, rail and infrastructure projects across Queensland. You will operate hi-rail vehicles and assist with track maintenance in a safety-conscious, efficient manner.

Qualifications

• RIW certification or equivalent required.
• Unit TLIC3045: Operate Road/Rail vehicle.
• Construction Induction (White Card) required.
• C Class Driver’s Licence required.
• Ability to pass CAT 1 Rail Medical Assessment.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance of rail track infrastructure.
• Operate hi-rail vehicles in compliance with standards and procedures.
• Follow site, client and Schwarz safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure safe operations.
• Support a safety-first culture through proactive participation.
• Accurately complete required paperwork and reports.
