Job summary

ARTC in Victoria is seeking an experienced Hi-Rail Excavator Operator to join our team delivering critical rail maintenance and civil works across the Victorian network.

You will operate Hi-Rail Excavators, Dump Trucks, and front-end loaders as part of a safety-focused crew, travel about 70% across Victoria, and roster 9 days on/5 off.

Qualifications

• Operational experience with mobile plant in a railway environment.
• Current Rail Industry Worker competencies.
• Current Driver's Licence; HR licence or above highly regarded.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home (approximately 70% of time).
• Able to work 9 days on and 5 days off roster.

Responsibilities

• Deliver maintenance and construction works across the rail corridor.
• Operate Hi-Rail Excavators and supporting plant (Dump Trucks, Front-end Loaders).
• Re-railing and undercutting operations.
• Formation and track upgrades.
• Vegetation management where required.
