Job summary

ARTC in Victoria is seeking an experienced Hi-Rail Excavator Operator to join our rail maintenance and civil works teams across the Victorian network. You will operate Hi-Rail Excavators, Dump Trucks and Front-end Loaders, delivering important track and formation upgrades in a safety‑focused field environment.

Rostered on a 9 days on/5 days off cycle, you must be willing to travel around Victoria and stay away from home up to about 70% of the time.

Qualifications

• Operational experience with mobile plant within a railway environment.
• Current Rail Industry Worker competencies.
• Current Driver's Licence; HR licence or above highly regarded.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekend work.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home; approximately 70% away across Victoria.
• Be able to work 9 days on and 5 days off roster.
