Job summary

Hertz in Griffith, NSW is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver exceptional service and drive sales for both internal and external customers. You will work as part of a high-performing team within a multi-brand dealership, handling bookings, rentals, and inquiries at the front desk.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, prior customer service or sales experience (rental industry preferred), and a valid AU driver’s licence.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales services to internal and external customers to ensure the continued growth and profitability of Hertz. In this role you will work as part of a high performing team at our award-winning, multi brand dealership.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure a positive customer experience by greeting and engaging customers
• Complete rental and return transactions efficiently and accurately
• Ensure overall customer satisfaction by resolving issues
• Sell Hertz rental options to our valued customers
• Be involved in reservations of rental vehicles and associated requirements
• Ferry vehicles as needed
• Participating in 'start & close of day' activities
• General customer reception & enquiries by telephone and front desk
• Accepting bookings and completing Rental Agreements for Hertz Rental
• Receipting payment by retail and account customers

About you

• Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and ability to engage in verbal interaction with customers
• Previous experience in customer service or sales; experience in rental industry preferred
• A full and current AU driver's licence with the ability to drive automatic vehicles
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
