Beca is seeking a Consultant Archaeologist in Sydney to deliver Aboriginal heritage assessments and archaeological fieldwork across NSW projects. You will prepare technical reports, support stakeholder consultation, and collaborate with planners, ecologists and engineers to integrate heritage outcomes into project delivery.

A degree in Archaeology is required; GIS skills and NSW heritage knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor (Honours) or Master’s degree in Archaeology.
• Experience in Aboriginal cultural heritage assessment in Australia.
• Knowledge of NSW heritage legislation and AHIP processes.

Responsabilités

• Prepare Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessments and related reports.
• Support consultation with Aboriginal stakeholders and communities.
• Participate in field surveys, test excavations, and salvage operations.
• Contribute to proposals, value propositions, and client presentations.
• Assist with project management activities and field program coordination.
