Job summary

AES Asset Services is seeking qualified Heavy Duty Fitters to join our team in Sydney. You will support NRW Civil & Mining site teams with scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and breakdowns on civil construction and mining equipment.

We offer industry-leading casual rates ($81.50–$91/hr), flexible rosters, flights from capital cities, superannuation on all hours, and development opportunities within a large employer. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Australian Manual Drivers Licence.
• Australian/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate.
• Minimum 3 years post trade experience.
• Experience with CAT equipment and large mining machinery.

Responsibilities

• Support NRW site teams in scheduled maintenance, workshop, diagnostics and breakdowns on civil construction and mining equipment.
• Work across a range of heavy machinery in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

As a Heavy Duty Fitter with AES Asset Services, you will play a key role in supporting the NRW site teams in scheduled maintenance, workshop, diagnostics and breakdowns on a wide variety of civil construction and mining equipment.

What we are looking for:

• Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• Australian/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
• Tickets and licences EG: Forklift, Rigging, Dogging, etc (desired)
• Minimum 3 years post trade experience (MEM)
• Experience with CAT, 740, 777, 793F Dump Trucks, 950, 980 CAT Loaders, CAT 6060, D8, D10 CAT Dozers, 30T, 85T, 120T, 5600 Hitachi Excavators, 14,16 Graders, Water Carts & Rollers
• A “can do” attitude and strong team commitment
