Job summary

NRW Holdings is seeking a Heavy Duty Fitter to support on-site maintenance, workshops, diagnostics and breakdowns for surface mining equipment at Karara. The role offers 2:1 or 2:2 rosters, day and night shifts, and opportunities for career progression within NRW Civil & Mining.

Ideal candidates will hold Australian/NZ trade certification, a manual licence, relevant tickets, and at least three years of post-trade experience working with large CAT, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment.

Qualifications

• Australian manual driver’s licence is required.
• A recognised trade certificate (Australia/NZ) is required.
• Tickets and licences such as forklift and working at heights are needed.
• Minimum 3 years post-trade experience (MEM) is expected.
• Experience with CAT 6060, CAT 793F, Hitachi EX5600 and Komatsu WA900-8 is preferred.

As a Heavy Duty Fitter with NRW, you are responsible forsupporting the onsite team in scheduled maintenance, workshop,diagnostics and breakdowns on a wide variety of surface miningequipment.

What we are looking for:
